    Books & other materials

When researching and looking for books on any of your topics they can be found in two main ways: by searching the online Canisius College Library Catalog and by browsing the Libraries' collection.

When searching the online catalog, a basic search will let you search by keyword, title, author, subject or call number.   If we do not own the book you are looking for or if it is checked out, make sure you check ConnectNY.  You may be able to request the book and it will be sent to Canisius and would be placed on hold for you at the front library desk.  (ConnectNY books are requestable by current students, faculty and staff and can only be checked out for 3 weeks.)

Some keywords you may want to try: holidays, festivals, celebrations or the name of a holiday
